Prof. Bin Chen got his Ph. D at Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2002, and finished Post Doc research with sponsorship of Japan Society for Promotion Science. Now he is full professor and vice director of State Key Laboratory of Multiphase Flow in Power Engineering in Xi’an Jiaotong University, as well as the Academic Vice Chancellor of Jiangxi University of Science and Technology. He is also National-level Leading Talent, and Chief Scientist of the National Key Research and Development Program. His research interests focus on the high-efficient and clean conversion and utilization of fossil energy and new energy, as well as green recycling of Renewable Wastes. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed journal papers and was invited to give more than 30 keynote speeches. Owing to his achievements, he was awarded the First-class Award in Natural Science of the Ministry of Education, the First Prize of Technical Invention of the Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics, the First Prize of National Teaching Achievements Award, and the Bao-steel Excellent Teacher Award.
