Evan K. Wujcik, Ph.D., M.B.A. is an Associate Professor of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering with joint appointment in the Advanced Structures and Composites Center [ASCC] at The University of Maine (Orono, ME USA), where he leads the Materials Engineering And Nanosensor [MEAN] Laboratory. He obtained his BS in Chemical Engineering [Biology Track] (2008), BS in Applied Mathematics (2010), MS in Chemical Engineering (2009), and MBA (2011) from The University of Rhode Island and PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from The University of Akron (2013). He is recognized for his expertise in the electro-mechanical properties of stretchable/self-healable conductive polymers, electrohydrodynamics of polymer fibers, and composites for wearable sensors & environmental remediation/sensors. He is a Founding Associate Editor for Advanced Composites and Hybrid Materials (Springer-Nature; 2024 IF(JCR): 21.8 [Q1; #1 in Materials Science/Composites]) and Early Career Editorial Board Member of Composites Communications (Elsevier; 2024 IF(JCR): 7.7 [Q1; #7 in Materials Science/Composites]).
